Privacy Policy (Personal Information Protection Policy)
Asakusa Culture & Lights Executive Committee (hereinafter referred to as “the Organization”) is a general incorporated association.
The Organization complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter referred to as the “Personal Information Protection Act”) complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter referred to as the “Personal Information Protection Law”) and provides the services in accordance with this policy. The following are the guidelines for the handling of personal information, including registration information of users, in the services provided by the Organization (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”) in accordance with this Policy.
1. Acquisition and Use of Personal Information
The Organization will acquire personal information through appropriate procedures, including clarifying the purpose of use, and will not use the information for any purpose other than the stated purpose.
(1) Personal information to be collected
The personal information collected by the Organization in the course of the service is as follows
-Name, gender, date of birth, address (zip code, prefecture, city, town, or village) ,telephone number, and information regarding nationality or country of residence
-Email address, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook or Google account and password information
-Information related to user postings entered or submitted by users through our forms or other methods determined by us.
(2) Purpose of use
The specific purposes of use of personal information related to the provision of the service are as follows
a. To provide, notify, maintain, protect, and improve the Service, such as for acceptance of registration, identification, user authentication, and recording of user preferences.
b. To respond to inquiries regarding the Service
c. To respond to acts that violate the terms and conditions of the Service
d. To notify you of changes in the terms and conditions of the Service.
2. Restrictions on the provision of personal information to third parties
The Organization will not provide or disclose personal information to third parties without the prior consent of the individual, except in the following cases
(1)When the Organization outsources all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use.
(2)When personal information is provided as a result of the succession of business due to merger or other reasons
(3)When personal information is provided to business partners or information collection module providers in accordance with the regulations.
(4)When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, a local government, or an individual or entity entrusted by either a national agency or local government to execute affairs prescribed by law, and obtaining the user's consent may interfere with the execution of such affairs.
(5) Other cases permitted under the Personal Information Protection Law or other laws and regulations.
3. Safe Management of Personal Information
The Organization will manage personal information accurately and securely, and will take appropriate measures to prevent loss, falsification, leakage, etc. of personal information.
4. Disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, etc. of personal information
The Organization understands that the individual concerned has the right to request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or erasure of personal information that identifies him/her, and will respond promptly to such requests.
5. Supervision of contractors
When the Organization outsources all or part of the handling of personal information, the Organization will require the outsourcee to manage the personal information safely and will supervise the outsourcee as necessary and appropriate.
6. Thorough Protection of Personal Information
The Organization shall comply with the Personal Information Protection Law and other related laws, regulations, and guidelines, and shall ensure that its officers, employees, contractors, and other related parties are fully aware of the importance of protecting personal information, and shall educate and enlighten them on the importance of protecting personal information.
The handling of personal information is subject to change in whole or in part by the Organization. Any changes will be posted on the website.
