Tickets for Special Viewing of Senso-ji Denboin Garden and Ema Hall, including tickets bundled with the Ema Catalog “The Ema of Senso-ji,” are available on the ticket sales websites. They can also be purchased at the “Special Viewing of Senso-ji Denboin Garden and Ema Hall” reception (north side of Denboin Garden, near Okuyama-mon Gate) from 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM, Friday, October 30 - Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Quantities are limited and heavy crowds are expected on weekends and holidays, so we recommend purchasing tickets in advance.
*The Premium Special Viewing and the Senso-ji Denboin Preservation & Repair Work Special Viewing Program are available by advance purchase only.

Two projection mapping programs with different content, each about six minutes long, are shown in alternation throughout the evening, so you can enjoy the show whenever you arrive. Because the audience turns over roughly every six minutes, you should be able to view the projection mapping without a long wait even when it is very crowded.
Heavy crowds are expected at the 6:00 PM start, so we recommend visiting a little later in the evening, once the shops along Nakamise Shopping Street have closed and their lights have gone out.
Nakamise Shopping Street is expected to be especially crowded on Friday, October 30, Saturday, October 31, Sunday, November 1, and Tuesday, November 3, 2026 (a national holiday), and it may take some time to reach Hozo-mon Gate. Thank you for your understanding.

Tickets for Special Viewing of Senso-ji Denboin Garden and Ema Hall are required for elementary school students and older. Preschool-age children may enter free of charge.

The projection mapping uses approximately 10 projectors with a brightness of 20,000 lumens (lm) each.
Floodlights used to illuminate an entire venue at a typical outdoor event range from 10,000 lumens to 50,000 lumens or more, and a typical LED street lamp ranges from 10,000 to 20,000 lumens, so there is no risk that the projection mapping light will affect the cultural properties.
High-output lasers are also used to enhance the visual effect, but they are operated at reduced output and directed into the air. They are not aimed at the cultural properties.
