Senso-ji Hozo-mon Gate and Main Hall Projection Mapping

For the first time ever, Senso-ji's Main Hall will host a projection mapping show. Alongside it, the projection mapping at Hozo-mon Gate — which drew over 150,000 visitors last fiscal year — will also be held simultaneously. Enjoy these two spectacular displays of light, completely free of charge.

[Admission] Free viewing, no advance registration required.

*Two different approximately 6-minute projection mapping shows will be projected alternately on the south side of Senso-ji's Main Hall and the south side of Hozo-mon Gate.

*Regardless of what time you visit, the same contents will be shown throughout. Since very heavy crowding is expected right after each showing begins, we recommend visiting later in the evening.

*The projection will take place even in rain, but may be temporarily paused or cancelled in the event of severe weather.

*Depending on how crowded the venue becomes, entry restrictions may be implemented and the content may be partially changed. We appreciate your understanding in advance. Please follow staff guidance and cooperate with one-way pedestrian flow inside the venue.

*Please refrain from using tripods, selfie sticks, and other supporting equipment, flash photography, and drones inside the venue.
