Important Cultural Property Senso-ji Denboin Preservation & Repair Work Special Viewing Program (Saturday, October 31 - Sunday, November 1, 2026 only)

This program lets you tour the Important Cultural Property Senso-ji Denboin — its usually non-public Guest Hall, entrance hall, and shoin study, which have been undergoing large-scale preservation and repair work for over 10 years since 2016 — while a leading expert in preservation and repair work explains its finer points.

[Date & Time] Saturday, October 31 - Sunday, November 1, 2026. Each day at 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM (2 sessions per day, approximately 1 hour 30 minutes each)

[Venue] Senso-ji Denboin (2-3-1 Asakusa, Taito-ku, Tokyo)

[Price] ¥5,000 (Adults and high school students and above only; advance purchase only, tax included)

[Capacity] 10 people per session (first-come, first-served; sales end once capacity is reached)

*Tickets for the "Senso-ji Scenic Site: Denboin Garden / Ema Hall Special Viewing" are sold separately. If you wish to visit the Denboin Garden / Ema Hall on a special viewing basis, please purchase a separate special viewing ticket.

*No refunds or ticket-type changes are available after purchase, even if you are unable to attend for personal reasons.

*Junior high school students and younger, including preschool children, may not participate.

*This program takes you inside a site undergoing preservation and repair work. Construction work may still be under way on the day of your visit, with workers passing through the area, and noise or vibration may occur from the work itself and from the delivery and removal of materials. The areas viewed and the route may also change depending on the progress of the work. Thank you for your understanding.
